Robin Parsons ~ Business Development Director

Robin Parsons received her associates degree at Manatee Community College and is a graduate of Jacksonville University with a BS in marketing and art.

 Before coming to work for the Alliance, Robin was the Events and Promotions Manager for LWR Communities, LLC where she coordinated such events as Jazz at the Ranch and Art at the Ranch. Prior to this, she worked as the marketing coordinator for a large Jacksonville-based company and spent 12 years in the banking industry.

Robin accepted the position of director of business development in March 2007 and is the first, official employee. Her plans for the Alliance included growing the membership base, creating a “Voice” by bringing many of the issues currently facing local businesses to the forefront. Robin planned to create a variety of opportunities for the businesses to increase their “Visibility” via events, sponsorships, member directories and online exposure.

Since joining the Alliance, membership has increased by 925%, sponsorship participation has increased to over sponsorship income has increased by $35,000 and total equity in the organization has increased by over 1,283%. She has added value to the organization by creating a new website which visibility opportunities to our members as well a means to manage our complete database and event registration. She has streamlined all of the processes and procedures for organization allowing us to support our membership more effectively.
