Business Strategies around Covid-19 Relief
Ask the Experts – Bring Your Questions
Presentation begins at 11:00 a.m.
The Alliance is going virtual with another LEADS Online program. While our person-to-person connections will be limited for a time, we’re committed to the power of connection. We’ll be hosting a series of virtual Town Hall style meetings as an opportunity to stay connected and share important and timely knowledge from experts within the Alliance.
Join us online on Wednesday, April 8th as tax and labor law experts join us to answer your questions around the new aid packages available to businesses as a result of the Covid-19 crisis. With the rollout of these new programs, business owners are scrambling to quickly understand the details surrounding the offered benefits, applications processes, and eligibility requirements. A great number of informational resources have been made available, yet many are still seeking clarification.
Kathleen Hargreaves, CPA and Shareholder at Kerkering, Barberio & Co. will provide insight on the tax and accounting implications. Additionally, Jennifer Fowler-Hermes, Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law and Partner at Williams Parker, will join us to share guidance on how employers should approach the situation from an HR perspective.
This will be an interactive Q&A session. Participation is encouraged, and questions may be submitted in advance.
(While video participation is encouraged, users may call in, instead. Details Below.)
