VENICE, FL: Caldwell Trust Company has promoted three of its staff members to vice presidents according to R. G. “Kelly” Caldwell, CEO/president. “We’re always pleased when we can fill positions from within the company and these three dedicated employees have made it easy for us to do that. Scott Antritt and Sonya Kristie, based in the Sarasota office, have been promoted to vice president and trust officer while Sheryl Vieira, based in Venice, moves up to vice president of marketing and PR. Besides professional performance, all three are also heavily involved in community service.
Scott T. Antritt joined Caldwell Trust Company in 2011 as a trust officer with in-depth experience in financial planning, estate planning and portfolio management. A licensed financial adviser and independent registered securities representative, he is a cum laude graduate of Ohio University, holding a B.A. in business administration with a concentration in finance and insurance. In addition he completed curriculum through the College for Financial Planning and also graduated with top honors from the Florida Bankers Association Trust School.
Scott serves on the board of directors of the Lakewood Ranch Rotary Club and Monsters Lacrosse Academy. He is a founding charter member and vice president of MCLAX, Inc. a non-profit organization that raises funds to support the growth of lacrosse in Manatee County public schools. In 2017-2018, MCLAX was responsible for implementing the first-ever boys and girls varsity lacrosse program at Lakewood Ranch High School, where Antritt is an assistant coach for the boys team. In addition he is a volunteer for the Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund and Suncoast Charities for Children.

Sonya Kristie joined Caldwell Trust Company as an intern while still an undergraduate. After earning her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Florida she became a full-time staff member in 2005, working first as an administrative assistant, then trust assistant. She was promoted to trust officer in 2010 and assistant vice president and trust officer in 2014. Sonya is responsible for the day-to-day administration of trusts, which includes serving as wealth manager for trusts, IRA’s, estates, and investment management relationships. She assists her clients with budgeting, estate planning, investments, taxes, and legal matters in conjunction with their accountants and attorneys.
Sonya serves on the board and is an active K9 Handler for Sarasota K-9 Search & Rescue, which assists local, state and national first responders in finding the lost. She is also a member of the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council, the Florida Bankers Association and Women of the Sun Coast of Big Brothers Big Sisters. A past member of the Sarasota Evening Toastmasters Club, she has also completed the Engage Sarasota 2012/2013 program and the Adult Leadership Program Class of 2014, where she assists in coordinating the program.

Sheryl E. Vieira joined Caldwell Trust Company as marketing manager in 2011, bringing extensive experience in advertising, client relations, community outreach, new business development, event planning, media relations and sales. In 2014 she was promoted to assistant vice president of marketing. She manages the company’s strategic marketing and business development program, advertising and public relations. The results of her activities are evident in the company’s increased growth in assets, visibility within the community and recognition by the American Advertising Federation. Sheryl relocated to Sarasota in 1999, coming from New York, where she had been a marketing consultant for RHI Group, Inc. She quickly developed a portfolio of regionally based businesses that benefitted from her abilities.
Sheryl is deeply involved with the community as a volunteer. She currently serves on the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) board of directors and recently completed a five-year run co-chairing the annual Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund Golf & Poker Tournament and co-chaired The Orchid Ball for Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.
