CONDITIONED AIR MOVES INTO NEW LEE/CHARLOTTE OPERATIONS CENTER; FACILITY WILL ACCOMMODATE ANTICIPATED GROWTH

03 Aug 2020 2:24 PM | Amy Treis (Administrator)

Conditioned Air Company today announced that it has moved into its newly constructed operations center in Fort Myers. The 52,710-square-foot facility will enable the air-conditioning contracting and service firm to further expand its employment base and better serve its residential and commercial clients throughout Southwest Florida.

The Lee/Charlotte Operations Center is located at the intersection of Jetport Loop and Global Parkway in the Southwest International Commerce Park just across from the Southwest Florida International Airport and provides convenient access to Interstate 75.

The building encompasses approximately 10,800 square feet of office space, 31,110 square feet of warehouse space, and 10,800 square feet of mezzanine for storage and future expansion. It will house the firm’s Residential Replacements team, Lee County Service and Maintenance teams, Estimating, and Lee County Production Housing team.

“This new facility will serve as the firm’s central hub for the growing Lee and Charlotte County markets and will provide operational support for our Naples headquarters and Sarasota branches,” said Tim Dupre, President and Chief Executive Officer for Conditioned Air. “It also will house our main training facility with a fully functional lab for hands-on continuous education and onboarding of entry level technicians.”

The building was designed by the architectural firm of McHarris Planning & Design and was built and developed by Seagate Development Group. It features a dramatic exterior that is similar to Conditioned Air’s recently renovated corporate headquarters in Naples.

Conditioned Air had been searching more than two years for the right location to meet its operational needs due to continuous growth and strategic plan of the company. The company currently has 185 employees in Collier County, 124 employees in Lee County and 61 employees in Sarasota County with plans to double in size in the next five to seven years. A majority of that growth is projected to be in Lee and Sarasota counties.

“We continue to be very excited about the outlook for Conditioned Air,” Dupre said. “We anticipate that future growth will be fueled by a combination of organic growth through the company and potential acquisitions of other air-conditioning firms in the market.”

Conditioned Air has been helping make Southwest Florida more comfortable since 1962. It is currently the region’s largest air-conditioning contracting and service firm with a total of 370 employees serving Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Conditioned Air offers local expertise in light commercial and residential HVAC systems, including design, engineer, estimate, installation and maintenance of new construction, refrigeration, indoor air quality and dehumidification systems.
