Committees are where LWRBA members move from attending to leading. This is where relationships deepen, ideas turn into action, and members help shape the direction of the Alliance and the Lakewood Ranch business community.

Whether you want to expand your network, develop leadership skills, support fellow businesses, or contribute to meaningful initiatives, there is a committee designed to match your strengths and interests.

How to Join a Committee:

Review the committees below & identify the one that aligns with your interests and goals.
Contact the Committee Chair directly using the email provided to express your interest.
Attend a meeting on a trial basis to learn more & meet the team.
Confirm your commitment with the Chair & begin participating as an official committee member.

Workforce Development

The Workforce Committee connects businesses, educators & community partners to strengthen the region’s talent pipeline & support long-term economic growth.

Small Business Collaborative

The Small Business Committee supports & empowers entrepreneurs & small business owners by providing access to education, resources & peer collaboration that help them grow & thrive.

Growth & Development

The Growth & Development Committee drives membership growth by connecting with prospective businesses, sharing the value of the Alliance & fostering relationships that lead to new members.

Member Engagement

The LWRBA Ambassadors are a select group of member leaders who represent the Alliance’s mission by welcoming new members, fostering engagement & strengthening connections across our business community.

Finance

The Finance Committee is responsible for overseeing the financial health & stability of the Alliance. This includes developing & reviewing financial policies, budgets & strategies to ensure the Alliance’s financial integrity, transparency & sustainability.
